Bedford 4 Thorpe 2

The long trip to Bedford again seemed to have an effect on the girls as they started slowly and fell behind early on. Thorpe couldn't deal with Bedford's very tricky and skillfull winger and soon the hosts were 2-0 up. But the girls got into the game more as the half wore on and Charlotte cut the lead wen she smashed in an unstopable shot from outside the area. The next goal would be crucial and just after half time Beks broke into the box and squared the ball for an easy finish but noone from Thorpe could quite get there. Having missed this chance Bedford then went 3-1 up and when they added a fourth soon after it was game over although the girls never gave up and Lakey got the goal her play deserved near the end.
