This game was memorable for Sophie’s hatrick as well as the thick bank of fog that descended on the pitch with around 10 minutes to go, with Thorpe 4-0 up the ref decided to play through to the whistle and Thorpe added 2 more goals in this time through Bex and Charlotte though nobody saw them go in so cannot be described. Charlotte had opened the scoring with a long range effort and Sophie added 2 more before the break with good finishes from close range. She them completed her hatrick well deserved from her effort throughout. Thorpe now face Acle in the quarter finals.
