U12’s Thorpe 4 Gorleston 4

This was a cracking game which Thorpe took control of early on as Hannah scored with a lob over the keeper and then she crossed superbly for India to finish well to make it 2-0. However just before half time a Gorleston corner was bundled into the net and they were back in the game. But another excellent finish from Hannah gave united control again at 3-1. Gorleston scored again though from a harshly awarded free kick and Thorpe’s team spirit seemed to leave them completely and they capitulated defensively Gorleston taking advantage and scoring 2 quick goals. With 10 minutes left Thorpe restored some order and began to press to get something out of the game. Vivian went close twice India and Hannah also, with only seconds remaining Grace played the ball to Hannah who looked up and curled the ball into the far corner past the keeper for her hatrick.
