Thorpe started slowly and the visitors who were pushing for top spot were on top early, Thorpe started to get into the game but just as they did Arsley took the lead with their next attack. Soon it was 2-0 as Arsley scored again. But it wasn’t game over as Thorpe had come back from 2-0 down a few times over the last couple of seasons and sure enough a great run and cross by Bex saw the ball go in off a defender to make it 2-1. Unfortunately Arsley made it 3-1 with their next attack. This made it a long way back for Thorpe now and two further goals for the visitors near the end summed up the Arley’s dominance.
